Born into a non-musical Jaat family on May 8, 1989, Kapil discovered his love for music at an early age. By the grace of one & only A-grade flautist at AIR Akashvani & Doordarshan Jaipur Dr. B.L. Sharma, he learnt Indian Classical Instrumental Flute Music. Guided by famous folk and devotional singer Mr. Avadh Bihari Mathur, he honed his skills in harmonium, bhajan gayaki, and ghazal gayaki. His training continued under renowned ghazal singer Mr. Rajeev Bhatt, nephew of Padma Shri Vishwamohan Bhatt, and culminated in earning a 5-year Visharad diploma in Indian Classical Vocal Music and Diploma in Bansuri from Bhatkhande Sangit Vidyapith, Lucknow.

An acclaimed performer and educator, Kapil is a multi-year winner at the Shri Mahendra Bhatt Memorial All India Music & Dance Competitions (2015-2018). Through his YouTube channel and personalized online and offline classes, he shares the secrets of Bansuri Vidya and inspires a global community of music enthusiasts.
